It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 as she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if necessary, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the final thing competing nations at this tournament need to hear.

During the last week a belief they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this victory coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was in the semi-finals they exited the previous year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - an encounter Healy missed because of damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

Such is her determination, she afterwards commented she wished she had played through the pain.
